Docomo SMTB Net Bank to End 'V NEOBANK' in March 2027 and Transition to New Service
Agency Contract with CCC Life Partners to Conclude
Docomo SMTB Net Bank announced on September 30, 2026, that it has mutually agreed with CCC Life Partners (CCCLP) to terminate their bank agency agreement on March 28, 2027. Consequently, the “V NEOBANK” service operated through CCCLP will cease operations on that date and transition to a new banking service on March 29, 2027.
Existing account holders will not need to close their current accounts or open new ones. Account and branch numbers will remain unchanged, ensuring uninterrupted access to standard banking functions, including deposits, domestic transfers, and ATM withdrawals.
Branch Rename to Ginkgo Branch and Discontinuation of V Points
Under the restructuring, the current “V Point Branch” will be renamed “Ginkgo Branch” (Ichou Branch) on March 29, 2027. The integration with the V Point rewards program will also phase out prior to the transition.
- V Point Deadline: Earning and redeeming V Points on banking transactions will conclude on February 28, 2027.
- Transitional Rewards (March 1–28, 2027): Cash-back points will replace V Points for eligible transactions, though point redemptions for loan repayments and lottery purchases will be suspended.
- Debit Card Cashback: The debit card reward rate—scheduled to shift to 1.25% on November 1, 2026—is planned to stay at 1.25% under the new framework.
Further specifics regarding customer loyalty rewards and functional details of the upcoming service will be published as they are finalized.
